Our METHODS
Attachment Therapy looks at the connection between a child’s early attachment experiences with primary caregivers and that child’s ability to develop normal emotional and physical relationships as an adult. Attachment-based therapy helps the client to identify abandonment issues, trust issues, and assumptions that challenge our adult relationships.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches you practical coping skills to help you regulate your emotions. It also helps you to control the extreme feelings, physiological arousals, and fears that one feels towards family, romantic partners, and friends. DBT is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy that is specifically designed to target relational difficulties.
Trauma–Focused Therapy is a specific approach acknowledging how a traumatic experience impacts mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. This form of therapy is scientifically proven to be effective against the effects of PTSD, depression, and moods disorders that stem from traumatic life experiences.
